-Is U.S.-Japan relations a good sign for the S.Korea?
@ A News Conference between President Trump and PM. Abe at Akasaka Palace, Japan. (May 27, 2019)
The President Trump has shown the best U.S.-Japan alliance through his four - days visit to Japan. However, President Trump said in a joint press conference with Abe on July 27, "My people are against the UN Security Council for launching a North Korea missiles, but it is not my view."
And President Trump said, he is not "Personally"bothered by recent short-range missile tests and doesn't believe they violated UN security council resolution.
On the recent launch of the North Korean missiles, the differences between National Security Adviser John Bolton and President Trump have become a matter of parliamentary problems.
On the same page, Acting Defense Secretary Shanahan an National Security Adviser Bolton said, "The North Korean missile launch is a violation of the UN Security Council resolutions." However, President Trump has a different view from the two U.S. Security Chiefs.
Of course, President Trump underestimated the launch of missiles, which could be a high-level strategy that left room for Kim Jong-un to leave the negotiating table for denuclearization. It is not a political rhetoric but a statement of strategic dimension of the United States.
If the Chief of the national security, who is responsible for the lives of Americans, tolerates North Korea's missile launch, it is a greater threat to national security.
@ President Trump and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe inspected the helicopter-carring destroyer Kaga at the maritime Self-Defense Force base in Yokosuka, Japan.(5-28-2019)
Abe has been extremely hospitable to President Trump, who has been visiting for the four days(25~28) in Japan.
On the 28th, The President Trump and PM. Abe inspected the new aircraf carrier Kaga at the self-defense force base in Yokosuka, Japan.
During his visit to Japan, President Trump spent time with Abe for three hours Plays golf, and watches sumo, and had a great dinner.
@ President Trump and Abe strong promised alliance.
Regarding the reason Prime Minister Abe welcomed President Trump, Japan is a protest against the U.S. and China doing the end of war of the power game in the East Asia(the hegemony in East Asia). China does not recognize that it is G2.
@ Japan Plans to convert the Kaga into a carrier able to deploy F-35B stealth fighter jets it has committed to purchase from the United States.
Japan focuses on controlling China and managing South and North Korea. That is why it is a trick for President Trump. It is also to show pride in India-Pacific strategy equally with the United States.
President Moon Jae-in must learn Abe. There is nothing to lose by strengthening the alliance with the United States, the strongest nation. Prime Minister Abe's President Trump treats are for the benefit of the nation and the people.
While diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Japan are good, diplomacy between South Korea and the United States has already been cracked.
If the U.S.-Japan alliance continues to be a strong relationship with Korea, it would be fine to denuclearize North Korea, but on the other hand, the close relationship between Abe and Trump may be a dangerous signal to South Korea.
It is because of the agreement between the U.S. and Japan that "the Treaty of Kasratteft (1905)." The United States has tolerated Japan when it seizes South Korea.
The U.S.-China trade war is ongoing. The closer the United States and Japan are, the more pressure the United States will put on China, and the hegemony in East Asia can be more powerful for Japan than for China.
@ President Trump and PM. Abe listen to abductees families.
What is also worrisome is that Moon Jae-in's chances of moving the driver's seat to denuclearize North Korea are high risk. This is because Japan has begun to actively approach North Korea. Of course, this is because Abe must solve the problem of repatriating Japanese abductees who were kidnapped.
Moon Jae-in needs to keep the strongest U.S. as our allies for national interest.
This is the passage that Moon Jae-in should learn from Abe.
