President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump announced that before signing the “Take it down” act in the White House Rose Garden today (the 19th, local time), he had a two-hours phone call with President Putin. Putin promised that he would immediately begin peace talks with Ukraine.

트럼프 대통령은 영부인 멜라니아여사와 함께 오늘(19일, 현지시간) 백악관 로즈가든에서 “Take it down" 법에 서명하기전 트럼프 대통령은 푸틴 대통령과 2시간동안 전화통화를 했다고 밝혔다. 그러면서 푸틴 대통령은 우크라이나와 종전협상을 즉각 개시 할 것이라고 장담했다.

The “Take it Down” Act is a historic, bipartisan new law focused on protecting children and families from online exploitation and exploitation through the non-consensual distribution of intimate images and deepfake abuse.

“Take it down" 법은 친밀한 이미지와 딥페이크 남용의 비동의 배포를 통해 온라인 강탈과 착위로부터 어린이와 가족을 보호하는데 중점을 둔 역사적이고 초당적인 새로운 법률이다.

President Trump posted on his Truth Social Media right after the call with Putin, “I spoke with President Putin of Russia for two hours, and I think the conversation went very well.” He added, “The details of this will be negotiated between the two sides (Russia and Ukraine).”

트럼프 대통령은 푸틴과 통화 직후 자신의 Truth Social 미디어에 올린 글에서 “러시아 푸틴 대통령과 2시간 동안 통화를 했고, 대화는 아주 잘 진행됐다고 생각한다.”면서 “이를 위한 세부사항에 대한 협상은 양측(러시아와 우크라이나)이 하게 될 것이라.”고 밝혔다.

President Trump also said that immediately following his call with President Putin, he held separate calls with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and Finnish President Alexander Stup to brief them on the results of their calls.

트럼프 대통령은 또한 푸틴 대통령과의 통화 직후 볼로디미르 젤렌스키 우크라이나 대통령을 비롯해 우르줄라 폰데어라이엔 유럽연합(EU) 집행위원장, 에마뉘엘 마크롱 프랑스 대통령, 조르지아 멜로니 이탈리아 총리, 프리드리히 메르츠 독일 총리, 알렉산더 스툽 핀란드 대통령과 별도로 통화해 이날 통화 결과에 대해 설명했다고 밝혔다.

Meanwhile, when President Trump was leaving the event, when a reporter asked him, “Do you think Putin wants peace and if he thought pope Leo could help broker it. In bothe instances?, Trump answered positively, “I do.”

한편 트럼프 대통령이 행사를 마치고 떠날 때 “푸틴이 평화를 원한다고 생각하는지, 그리고 교황 레오가 평화를 중재하는데 도움을 줄수 있다고 생각하는지.”에 대한 기자의 질문에, 트럼프 대통령은 “그렇습니다.”라고 긍정적으로 대답했다.

President Trump hinted that he did not rule out the possibility of the Vatican's involvement in the process of negotiating a ceasefire for the Russia-Ukraine War, saying in particular that "the Vatican, represented by Pope Leo XIV, has expressed interest in hosting negotiations."

트럼프 대통령은 특히 “레오 14세 교황이 대표로 있는 바티칸은 협상을 주최하는 데 관심이 있다고 밝혔다”며 러·우 전쟁의 휴전 협정 과정에서 교황청이 관여할 가능성도 배제하지 않고 있음을 시사했다.

President Trump said, “Russia wants to do massive trade with the United States once the ‘bloodshed’ is over, and I agree with that,” adding, “Russia has the opportunity to create enormous jobs and wealth.” He also said, “Ukraine could also be a huge beneficiary of trade as it rebuilds its country.”

트럼프 대통령은 “러시아는 재안적인 ‘유혈사태’가 끝나면 미국과 대규모 무역을 하기를 원하고 있고 나 역시 이에 동의한다”며 “러시아는 엄청난 양의 일자리와 부를 창출할 수 있는 기회를 가지고 있다”고 했다. 또 “마찬가지로 우크라이나도 국가 재건 과정에서 무역의 큰 수혜자가 될 수 있다”고 했다.

The end of the Russia-Ukraine War is drawing near, and it is the hope and wish of all those who wish for world peace.
