"President Trump awards Medals of Honor to war heroes!"

“The Iran war was expected to last four to five weeks, but it could last longer…and we'll win easily.”

["이란과의 전쟁은 4~5주 정도 지속될 것으로 예상됐지만, 더 오래 걸릴 수도, 하지만 우리는 쉽게 승리할 것.”]@President Trump speaks in the East Room of the White House, amidst military leaders and attendees, as he awards the Medal of Honor to war heroes on the 2nd (local time).>>>

President Trump held a Medal of Honor ceremony in the East Room of the White House on the morning of the 2nd (local time). The ceremony was attended by numerous military leaders, including Secretary of War Hegseth.

In his first public appearance since launching attacks on Israeli forces and Iran, President Trump awarded medals to three individuals who served in World War II, the Afghanistan War, and the Vietnam War.

President Trump expressed his position on the Iranian attack through video messages on his social media accounts, TruthSocial, on the 28th and 1st, and conducted telephone interviews with several American media outlets.

President Trump's choice of the Medal of Honor ceremony as his first public event since the outbreak of hostilities with Iran is interpreted as an attempt to honor America's "war heroes" and thereby boost the morale and patriotism of American troops engaged in the war against Iran, as well as strengthen their combat readiness.

Regarding the four soldiers who were the first American casualties in this war, President Trump said, "I mourn the loss of these four heroic American soldiers, and I send my love and support to their families."

In his speech, President Trump boasted of America's military capabilities, stating, "I expect a war with Iran to last four to five weeks, but I don't rule out the possibility of it lasting longer." He added, "We have the most powerful and overwhelming military in the world by far, and we will win easily."

He continued, "We are significantly ahead of our timeline. We expected it to take four weeks to eliminate the military leadership, but as you know, it was done in about an hour."

Shortly after the war began on the 28th, US airstrikes conducted jointly with Israel killed several Iranian military and government officials, including Supreme Leader Khamenei.

Regarding the success of this military operation, President Trump said that 10 Iranian ships had been sunk, adding, "They're now at the bottom of the ocean."

He also stated, "We're also destroying Iran's missile capabilities, including their ability to produce new, quite capable missiles."

As Secretary of War Hegseth said in a Pentagon briefing earlier, the United States is the most powerful country in the world, as evidenced by the strong message it sent: “We will pursue and eliminate any enemy who touches America to the ends of the earth.”

I'm reminded of the words of former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dempsey. He issued a strong warning: "Those who rush to fight America are fighting against God." (End)
