On January 13th, as President Trump visited Michigan to tour Ford's iconic F-150 pickup truck assembly plant, the United States is celebrating the strong resurgence of the American automotive industry under his leadership.
13일 트럼프 대통령이 미시간주를 방문하여 포드의 상징적인 F-150 픽업트럭 조립 공장을 시찰하는 가운데, 미국은 그의 리더십 아래 미국 자동차 산업이 강력하게 부활한 것을 축하하고 있다.
American automakers are thriving amidst record sales figures, and President Trump, who campaigned on a promise to revitalize the American auto industry, has certainly delivered on that promise in just one year.
미국의 자동차 제조업체들은 기록적인 판매 실적 속에서 번창하고 있으며, 트럼프 대통령은 미국 자동차 산업을 재활성화하겠다는 약속을 내걸고 취힘했고, 단 1년 만에 그 약속을 확실하게 이행했다.
Ford achieved its best annual sales performance in six years, General Motors reported a surge in overall vehicle sales with its strongest SUV sales performance in decades, and Stellantis saw an increase in Jeep brand sales for the first time since 2018, making last year the year with the highest new car sales in the United States since 2019.
포드는 6년만에 최고의 연간 판매 실적을 달성했고, 제너럴 모터스는 수십 년 만에 가장 강력한 SUV 판매 실적을 기록하며 전체 차량 판매량이 급증했다고 보고했으며, 스텔란티스는 2018년 이후 처음으로 지프 브랜드 판매량이 증가했다고 알려짐으로서 지난해는 2019년 이후 미국의 신차 판매량이 가장 많았던 해 였다고 기록됐다.
The fact that American consumers, who had previously been drawn to foreign-made vehicles, are now turning their attention to American-made cars, and that this will likely lead to increased sales of American vehicles, can be seen as a positive development for the American economy. (End)
