@Amid flags from nine European countries, President Trump is discussing a security guarantee for Ukraine at the White House, moving toward peace talks to end the war in Ukraine.(8-18-2025)>>>

Last Monday, President Trump held an expanded summit at the White House with Ukraine, NATO members, and seven European countries.

트럼프 대통령은 지난 월요일 백악관에서 우크라이나, 나토를 비롯해 유럽 7개국과 확대 정상회담을 가졌다.

President Trump, who is pushing for peace talks to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, has demonstrated America's power as a global leader.

러시아와 우크라이나 전쟁 종식을 위해 평화협상을 추진하고 있는 트럼프 대통령은 세계적인 대통령으로서 미국의 힘을 과시했다.

The European leaders, seated around the table with President Trump at the center, heeded his powerful message and pledged to cooperate with the United States.

트럼프 대통령을 중심으로 회담 테이블에 둘러앉은 유럽국가들의 정상들은 트럼프 대통령의 강력한 메시지에 귀를 기울이며, 미국과 협력할것을 다짐했다.

European leaders left the White House, promising to hold trilateral peace talks involving Russia, Ukraine and the United States.

곧 있을 러시아와 우크라이나 그리고 미국이 함께 참여하는 3자 평화협상을 기약하면서 유럽정상들은 백악관을 떠났다.

The White House was packed with reporters from various countries as the summit took place in just one day.

하루만에 이루어진 이번 정상들의 회담에 각나라 취재진들이 많이 몰려와 백악관은 인산인해를 이루었다.

President Trump declared that his first priority after taking office would be to end the war in Ukraine. He also said that if he were president, this war wouldn't have happened.

트럼프 대통령은 취임후 제일먼저 우크라이나 전쟁을 종식시키는 일을 할것이라고 밝혔었다.  그리고 자신이 대통령이었다면 이 전쟁도 일어나지 않았을 것이라고 말했었다.

President Trump posted the following on his Truth social today:

“It is very hard, if not impossible, to win a war without attacking an invaders country.  It’s like a great team in sports that has a fantastic defense, but is not allowed to play offense.  There is no chance of winning! It is like that with Ukraine and Russia. Crooked and grossly incompetent Joe Biden would not Ukraine Fight Back, only Defend. How did that work out? Regardless, this is a war that would have Never happened if I were President -Zero Chance. Interesting times ahead!!!”
