The war in Ukraine is entering a new phase as President Biden reversed the existing policy and allowed Ukraine to use anti-personnel mines in addition to the use of long-range missiles. The use of anti-personnel mines outside the Korean Peninsula was banned in 2022, but it is unusual for Ukraine to use anti-personnel mines.

바이든 대통령은 기존 정책을 뒤집고 우크라이나가 장거리 미사일사용에 이어 대인지뢰 사용을 허락하면서 우크라이나전쟁이 새로운 국면으로 가고 있다. 2022년 한반도외에 대인지뢰 사용을 금지했는데 우크라이나가 대인지뢰를 사용하게 된 것은 이례적이다.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on the 19th, “The war has entered a new phase because the West wants to escalate tensions. Even non-nuclear states can use nuclear weapons with the support of nuclear states.” said. This is a specific statement about Putin's recent revision of the new doctrine to ease the use of nuclear weapons, so the intention is drawing attention.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said in a video conference with the European Parliament, “The number of North Korean troops deployed to the front will increase to 100,000 in the future,” emphasizing the continued support of Ukraine from the United States and its Western allies.

젤렌스키 우크라이나 대통령은 유럽의회 화상회담에서 “앞으로 전선에 투입된 북한군이 10만명으로 늘어날 것.”이라고 밝히면서 미국과 서방등 동맹국들의 계속적인 우크라이나 지원을 강조했다.

As it is known that North Korea's Kim Jong-un will soon visit Russia, the issue of additional troop dispatches between North Korea and Russia is expected to be discussed, and the Russo-Russian war is expected to become more intense.

북한 김정은이 곧 러시아를 방문할것으로 알려지면서 북러간의 추가 파병문제가 논의될 것으로 예측되면서 러우전쟁은 더욱 치열해 질 것으로 예상된다.

In a report to the National Assembly Intelligence Committee, the South Korean National Intelligence Service said, “North Korean troops are deployed to the Russian military and are participating in the war in Ukraine.” It was also revealed, “It has been confirmed that North Korea is providing self-propelled artillery and long-range artillery to Russia in addition to ammunition.”

The White House and State Department said they were “not surprised” by Russia’s easing of nuclear weapons use. Russia has already mentioned the use of nuclear weapons several times, and it is questionable whether it will actually happen.

A:(MR MILLER): So I don’t have a further assessment to offer today than what we’ve said in the – in recent days about the deployment of North Korean soldiers to Kursk. We continue to see them in Kursk. We have seen some of them begin to take part in combat operations and that makes them legitimate targets.
