"U.S. Bombs Massive Iranian Bridge._ Pressuring for Negotiations!

On the 2nd (local time), President Trump stated on Truth Social, "Iran's largest bridge has collapsed and can never be used again," while posting a video showing black smoke billowing from a massive Iranian bridge that had collapsed following a U.S. attack.

트럼프 대통령은 2일(현지시간) 트루스소셜(SNS)에 “이란 최대의 다리가 무너져 다시는 사용할수 없게 됐다.”고 밝히면서 미국의 공격을 받아 이란의 대형 교량이 공격을 받아 붕괴하면서 검은 연기가 치솟는 모습의 영상을 올렸다.

President Trump continued, warning that "more is to come," and emphasized, "It is time for Iran to make a deal before it is too late, and before nothing remains that would allow it to become a great nation."

트럼프 대통령은 이어 “더 많은 일이 이어질 것”이라면서 이라면서 “이란이 너무 늦기전에, 위대햔 나라가 될 수 있도록 하는 것이 아무것도 남지 않게 되기 전에 합의를 해야 할 때다.”고 강조했다.

.The destroyed bridge connects the Tehran and Karaj regions; its construction had not yet been completed, and standing at a pier height of 136 meters—it is the tallest bridge in the Middle East. It has been reported that the structure in question is Bridge B1, located in the Karaj region approximately 35 kilometers southwest of Tehran, the capital of Iran.

폭파된 교량은 테헤란과 카라즈 지역을 잇는 것으로 아직 건설이 완료되지 않았으며 교각 높이가 136ｍ나 돼 중동지역에서 가장 높은 다리이며, 해당 교량은 이란의 수도 테헤란에서 남서쪽으로 35㎞ 정도 떨어진 카라즈 지역의 B1 교량이라고 전해졌다

While the exact timing of the U.S. military's attack on this bridge remains unclear, it is presumed to have occurred sometime after President Trump's address to the nation the previous day. During that address delivered on the 1st (local time) and lasting approximately 19 minutes—President Trump demanded that Iran agree to negotiations, yet simultaneously warned, "Within two to three weeks, I will launch a powerful attack on Iran that will send it back to the 'Stone Age.'"

미군이 이 다리를 공격한 시점은 정확하지 않지만 전날 있었던 트럼프 대통령의 대국민 연설 이후로 추정된다. 트럼프 대통령은 전날인 1일(현지시간) 진행한 약 19분간의 대국민 연설에서 협상에 합의할 것을 이란에 요구하면서도 “2~3주 안에 이란을 강하게 공격해 ‘석기시대’ 수준으로 되돌려놓겠다”고 말했다.

President Trump’s decision to strike a major bridge immediately following his address to the nation—thereby putting his warnings into action—is interpreted as an attempt to pressure Iran into reaching an agreement by escalating the intensity of attacks, exactly as he had forewarned.

트럼프 대통령이 대국민 연설 직후 대형 교량을 타격하면서 경고 내용을 실행에 옮긴 것은 그가 예고한 대로 공격 강도를 높이면서 이란에 합의를 압박하려는 의도로 풀이된다.

Iran now faces a choice: continue to endure relentless military blows from the United States, or swiftly enter into negotiations and capitulate thereby taking immediate steps to bring the conflict to an end. (End)
