[트럼프 대통령, 총사령관 트로피 수여식 참석_”해군 미식축구선수들에게 수여”]@On the 20th (local time), President Trump delivered a speech in the East Room of the White House during the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy presentation ceremony, stating that Iran must never possess nuclear weapons.>>>

On the 20th (local time), President Trump attended the Commander-in-Chief Trophy presentation ceremony in the East Room of the White House.

트럼프 대통령은 20일(현지시간), 백악관 이스트룸에서 총사령관 트로피 수여식에 참석했다.

At the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy presentation ceremony held that day with the Navy football players, President Trump stated, “Iran must never possess nuclear weapons.”

이날 해군 미식축구선수들과 가진 총사령관 트로피 수여식에서 트럼프 대통령은 “이란은 절대 핵무기를 가져서는 않된다.”고 말했다.

At the beginning of his speech, President Trump said, “I want to begin by just saying we’re doing extremely well in Iran.

트럼프 대통령은 연설 서두에서 “먼저 말씀드리고 싶은 것은 , 저희는 이란에서 매우 좋은 성과를 거두고 있다.”고 말했다.

“The difference between them and us is they had a navy two weeks ago. They have no navy anymore. It’s all at the bottom of the sea. 58 ships knocked down in two days, and we have the greatest Navy anywhere in the world. It’s not even close. So we are doing really well.” he said.

“우리와 그들의 차이점은 2주 전까지만 해도 그들에게는 해군이 있었다는 것이다. 하지만 지금은 해군이 없다. 모든 함선이 바닷속에 가라 앉았다.”면서 “이틀 만에 58척의 함선이 격침되었는데, 우리는 세계 최강의 해군을 보유하고 있다. 비교 대상조차 되지 않는다. 우리는 정말 잘하고 있다.”고 말했다.

“We’re not going to let them have nuclear weapons, because if they had them, they’d use them, and we’re not going to let that happen.” President Trump said.

“우리는 그들이 핵무기를 보유하도록 내버려 두지 않을 것이다. 만약 그들이 핵무기를 갖게 된다면, 분명히 사용할 것이고, 우리는 그런 일이 일어나도록 방치하지 않을 것이다.”고 트럼프 대통령은 말했다.

“Should have been done a long time ago by other presidents. So, it’s an honor to be here this is fun. And these are great athletes standing.” Trump added.

그러면서 트럼프 대통령은 “이는 이전 대통령들이 오래전에 했어야 할 일이다. 이곳에 오게 되어 영광이고, 정말 즐겁다. 그리고 이분들은 훌륭한  운동선수들이다.”고 선수들을 향해 박수쳤다.(끝)
