The 47th Presidential Inauguration of the United States was held at the Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

The 47th Presidential Inauguration of President Trump, scheduled to be held on the 20th (local time) in front of the U.S. Capitol, was held indoors in the Capitol Hill (Rhodon Hall) due to weather conditions, with 800 attendees including former presidents and other key figures watching. Of the 220,000 attendees, about 20,000 watched the inauguration via video from the Capital Arena.

미 의회 의사당 앞에서 20일(현지시간) 개최되기로 한 이번 47대 트럼프 대통령 취임식이 날씨 관계로 인해 의사당 실내(로돈홀)에서 전직 대통령들을 비롯하여 주요인사들과 참석자 8백명이 지켜본 가운에 진행되었다. 22만명의 참석자들 가운데 2만여명은 캐피탈 arena(캐피탈 경기장홀)에서 화상으로 취임식 광경을 지켜봤다.

앞서 트럼프 대통령 내외는 취임식 참석에 앞서 백악관에서 바이든 대통령 부부와 티타임을 갖은후 같은 1호 차량으로 취임식 행사장으로 향했다.

In his inaugural address marking the start of his second term, President Trump declared that he would make America great again and emphasized that from now on, he would act based on American interests and would not engage in wars that do not serve American interests.

트럼프 대통령은 두 번째 임기의 시작을 알리는 취임 연설에서 미국을 다시 위대하게 만들겠다고 선언했으며, 지금부터는 미국의 이익에 따라 행동하고 미국의 이익에 도움이 되지 않는 전쟁에는 참여하지 않을 것이라고 강조했습니다.

In his inaugural address, marking the start of his second term, President Trump declared that America would be “great again” and that a golden age had begun for the United States.

트럼프 대통령은 자신의 2기 행정부의 시작을 알리는 이번 취임 연설에서 미국을 다시 위대하게 만들 것이라며 미국의 황금시대가 시작됐다고 말했다.

President Trump emphasized that God saved him to “Make America great again.” The phrase “America great again” was repeated more than 20 times in the speech.

트럼프 대통령은 하나남이 자신을 세이브 한 것은 “미국을 다시 위대하게 만들라.”게 하라는 것이다고 강조했다. 연설에서 “위대한 미국”이란 단어가 20여번 반복됐다.

He also emphasized that from now on, the US will act based on its interests and will not get involved in wars that are not in the US interest.

그러면서 이제부터 미국의 이익에 기반해 움직이겠다면서 미국 이익이 없는 전쟁에 관여하지 않을 것이라고 강조했다.

As the United States resumes its role as the world's policeman, South Korea and its surrounding allies cannot help but be on high alert.

미국이 세계 경찰노릇에 재동을 걸면서 한국을 비롯해 주변 동맹국들에게도 비상일 수밖에 없다.

President Trump has announced that he will implement a strong policy to stop all illegal immigration and to deport immigrants who entered illegally through Mexico. He also plans to declare a state of emergency by deploying the military to the Mexican border, which could result in the deportation of up to 10 million people.

트럼프 대통령은 모든 불법입국자들을 중단시키고 멕시코를 통해 불법적으로 들어온 이민자들을 자국으로 돌려 보내는 강력한 정책을 시행 할 것이라고 밝혔다. 그리고 최대 1천만명을 쫓겨낼수 있도록 멕시코 국경에 군을 동원해 비상사태를 선언할 계획을 가지고 있다.

He has promised to “completely overhaul” the U.S. trade system and declare a national energy emergency.

미국 무역 시스템을 "전면적으로 개편"하고, 국가 에너지 비상 사태를 선포하겠다고 약속했다.

In particular, the Trump administration, which has prioritized the Make America Great Again policy, is focusing on improving the quality of life for American consumers by solving the high energy costs they face.

특히 미국을 더 위대하게를 우선정책으로 내세운 트럼프 행정부는 미국 소비자들이 감당하는 높은 에너지 비용을 해결할 함으로서 삶을 질을 높이겠다는데 방점을 두고 있다.

President Trump announced that he would impose new tariffs on imports from Canada, Mexico, and China, saying that he would “impose tariffs and taxes on foreign countries to enrich our own people” by imposing foreign tariffs and reorganizing the trade system.

트럼프 대통령은 외국 관세 부과 및 무역체재를 개편함으로서 “우리 국민을 부유하게 하기 위해 외국에 관세와 세금을 부과하겠다"고 밝히면서 캐나다. 멕시코, 중국산 수입품에 새로운 관세를 부과하겠다고 밝혔다.

President Trump also talked about territorial expansion. He strongly stated that he would rename the Gulf of Mexico as the “Gulf of America” and change the name of Denali, the highest mountain in North America, back to “Mt. McKinley.” Previously, then-President Barack Obama had renamed Mt. McKinley to Mt. Denali.

트럼프 대통령은 또한 영토확장에 대해서도 언급했다. 멕시코만을 '아메리카만'으로 이름을 바꾸어 놓을 것이며, 북미 최고봉인 디날리산의 이름을 '매킨리 산'으로 다시 바꾸겠다며 강하게 발언했다. 앞서 버락 오바마 당시 대통령은 매킨리산의 이름을 디날리산으로 개칭했었다.

President Trump also reiterated his pledge to “take back” the Panama Canal, which he claims is being run by China and “unfairly” treating American ships, saying, “We didn’t give the Panama Canal to China,” but “we gave it to Panama,” and “we’re going to take it back.”

미국 선박을 "불공정하게" 대우하며, 중국에 의해 운영되고 있다고 주장하는 파나마 운하를 미국이 "되찾겠다"는 약속도 거듭 밝히면서 "우리는 파나마 운하를 중국에 내준 게 아니"라 "파나마에 준 것"이라면서 "그리고 우리는 이제 이를 되찾아올 것"이라고 트럼프 대통령은 강조했다.

Meanwhile, Trump administration officials are announcing plans to end the government’s DEI(diversity, equity, and inclusion) program and formalize the idea that there are only two genders in U.S. government policy: male and female.

한편, 트럼프 행정부의 관료들은 정부 내 DEI 다양성, 형평성, 포용성 프로그램을 종료하고, 미국정부 정책에는 남성과 여성이라는 두 가지 성별만 존재함을 공식화할 예정이라고 밝히고 있다.

President Trump has signed the following additional Executive Actions in the Oval Office of the White House this afternoon:

트럼프 대통령은 이날 오후 백악관 오발 오피스 집무실에서 다음과 같은 추가 행동명령에 서명했다.

*Initial rescission of harmful executive orders and actions *Regulatory freeze pending review * Hiring freeze * Return to in-person work * Delivering emergency price relief for American families and defeating the cost of living crisis * Putting America first in international environmental agreements * Restoring freedom of the speech and ending federal censorship * Ending the weaponization of the federal government(we will change to a fair and just judicial system).

There are 33 additional signatures, including this one.

When asked by a reporter what he would do about the prisoners arrested as part of the rioters who protested at the Capitol on January 6, four years ago, in protest of election fraud, President Trump said, “I will pardon the 1,500 prisoners who are currently in custody.”

트럼프 대통령은 “4년전 1월6일 의사당에서 부정선거 반대로 시민들이 불만을 품고 일어난 사건으로 인해, 폭도로 체포된 수감자들에 대해 어떻게 할것이냐?”는 기자의 질문에, “현재 구금된 1천5백명의 수감자를 사면할 것이다.”고 말했다.

President Trump also said in his inauguration speech that he would use “executive orders” to rescue those who acted justly.

트럼프 대통령은 취임식 연설에서도 ‘행정명령‘을 통해서 정의롭게 행동했던 사람들을 구제할 것이라고 말했다.

There was no mention of North Korea in this inauguration speech.

이번 취임 연설에서는 북한문제에 관해 언급하지 않았다.

President Trump will host three celebratory balls tonight.
