“Iran will never rebuild its nuclear, From there? Absolutely not."

@The Iranian Fordow nuclear facility on June 21, 2025, immediately after being hit by a surprise airstrike during the US military's "Operation Midnight Hammer."

President Trump spoke to reporters on the White House South Lawn before boarding Marine One to head to The Hague for the NATO summit, expressing his disappointment at the impending ceasefire, saying, “I hate Israel more than I hate Iran.”

트럼프 대통령은 나토정상회담 참석을 위해 헤이그로 향하기전 백악관 사우스롼에서 마린원에 탑승하기전 기자들에게 닥아와 휴전이 임박할 것이라고 기대했던 것에 대한 실망을 밝히면서 “이란보다 이스라엘이 더 원망스럽다.”며 불만을 토로했다.

“Did Iran violate the ceasefire?" Trump said, "I do. They violated it. But Israel violated it, too. Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I'd never seen before. The biggest load that we've seen. I'm not happy with Israel."

"이란이 휴전을 위반 했느냐?“는 질문에, 트럼프는 "그렇다. 그들은 합의를 위반했다. 하지만 이스라엘도 위반했다. 이스라엘은 우리가 합의를 하자마자 나와서 내가 전에 본 적이 없는 폭탄을 잔뜩 투하했다. 우리가 본 것 중 가장 큰 규모였다. 나는 이스라엘에 대해 불만스럽다."고 말했다.

President Trump said, “I didn't like plenty of things I saw yesterday.” “I didn't like the fact that Israel unloaded right after we made the deal."

added, “All I do is play both sides. I'm going now, as you know, to NATO. I think It's going to be successful. We'll see."

"I think the reason we're here is because those pilots, those B-2 pilots, did and unbelievable job." he added, "They're really hurting great pilots who put their lives on the line." he said especially when media outlets like CNN destort the facts.

They did it better than anybody could even imagine." "They hit, late in the evening, it was dark with no moon, and they hit that target with every one of those things, and that place is gone. But when I see CNN, all that move is obviously, well, maybe it wasn't really as demolished as we thought. That place is gone."

Earlier on the 21st (local time), the US military conducted a surprise operation called “Midnight Hammer” and attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities with the latest bunker buster bomb, the GBU-57 bomb, and Tomahawk missiles capable of precision strikes. Afterwards, President Trump announced that “Iran’s nuclear facilities have been completely destroyed.” He emphasized that “Fordow is gone.”

앞서 21일(현지시각) 미군은 기습적으로 감행한 ‘미드나잇 해머(Midnight Hammer, 한밤중의 망치)’ 작전에서 최신형 벙커버스터인 GBU-57 폭탄, 정밀 타격이 가능한 토마호크 미사일로 이란 핵시설 3곳을 공격했다. 이후 트럼프 대통령은 “이란 핵시설이 완전히 파괴됐다”고 밝혔다. “ Fordow is gone(포르도는 사라졌다.)”고 강조했다.

At a Pentagon press conference on the 22nd (local time), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine also announced that the U.S. airstrikes began at 2:10 a.m. on the 21st, local time in Iran, and ended 25 minutes later, and that “all three nuclear facilities attacked by the U.S. suffered extremely severe damage and destruction.”

댄 케인 미 합참의장도 22일(현지시각) 펜타곤 기자회견에서 미국의 공습이 이란 현지 시간 21일 오전 2시 10분에 시작해 25분 후에 끝났다고 공개하며 “미국이 공습한 세 곳의 핵 시설 모두가 극심한(extremely severe) 손상과 파괴를 입었다”고 발표했다.

Meanwhile, there is a stir within the US Department of Defense over an initial report that the US blew up three nuclear facilities in Iran (Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan) but failed to destroy key elements. However, a more detailed assessment remains to be seen.

한편 미 국방부 내에서 미국이 이란 내 핵시설 3곳(포르도, 나탄즈, 이스파한)을 폭파했지만 핵심 요소들을 파괴하지 못했다는 초기 보고서가 나온 것으로 알려져 파장이 일고 있다. 하지만 더 자세한 평가는 두고 봐야 한다.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt did not deny the existence of the DIA report, but told CNN it was “completely wrong.” CNN also emphasized that the DIA report was an initial assessment and that the final report could contain different results. (End)

캐롤라인 레빗 백악관 대변인은 DIA 보고서 존재를 부정하지는 않으면서도 CNN에 “전적으로 틀린 것”이라는 입장을 밝혔다. CNN도 DIA의 보고서가 초기 평가인만큼 최종 보고서에는 다른 결과가 담길 수 있다는 점을 강조했다.(끝)
