"North Korea Launches Multiple Ballistic Missiles into the East Sea Over Two Consecutive Days!"

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that North Korea fired several ballistic missiles into the East Sea from the vicinity of Wonsan at approximately 8:50 a.m. on the 8^th(local time).

북한이 8일(현지시간) 오전 8시 50분께 원산 일대에서 동해상으로 탄도미사일 수 발을 발사했다고 한국 합동참모본부가 밝혔다.

It was also revealed that North Korea had launched multiple projectiles the previous day (the 7th, local time), and South Korean and U.S. intelligence agencies are currently analyzing the detailed specifications.

북한은 전날(7일, 현지시간)에도 발사체 여러개를 쏜 것으로 밝혀 졌으며 한미 정보당국은 세부 제원을 분석 중이다.

The ballistic missile launched by North Korea the previous day was fired eastward from the Pyongyang area; it is reported to have exhibited abnormal signs during the initial phase of its flight before disappearing.

북한이 전날에 발사한 탄도미사일은 평양 일대에서 동쪽 방향으로 발사했는데, 비행 초기에 이상 징후를 보이며 소실된 것으로 알려졌다.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) stated that North Korea may have proceeded with a missile test launch for the second consecutive day following a failed launch attempt the previous day.

북한이 전날 발사 실패에 따라 이틀 연속으로 미사일 시험발사에 나섰을 가능성이 있다고 합참은 밝혔다.

The JCS added, "Our(South Korean) military has bolstered surveillance and vigilance in preparation for additional launches, while South Korea and the U.S. are closely sharing intelligence regarding North Korea's ballistic missiles and maintaining a state of full readiness."

합참은 "우리(한국) 군은 추가 발사에 대비해 감시 및 경계를 강화한 가운데 한미가 '북 탄도미사일' 관련 정보를 긴밀하게 공유하면서 만반의 대비태세를 유지하고 있다"고 밝혔다.

North Korea’s launch of projectiles took place over two consecutive days, beginning the day after Kim Yo-jong, Deputy Department Director of the Workers' Party, stated—in reference to the "drone infiltration incident" that "our Head of State assessed this as a demonstration of the attitude of a frank and magnanimous person," directing her remarks toward President Lee Jae-myung, who had expressed regret over the incident.

북한의 발사체 발사는 김여정 노동당 부장이 '대북 무인기 침투 사건'과 관련해 유감 표명을 한 이재명 대통령을 향해 "우리 국가수반은 이를 솔직하고 대범한 사람의 자세를 보여준 것이라고 평했다"고 말한 다음 날부터 이틀 연속 이뤄졌다.

The South Korean public is outraged over President Lee Jae-myung’s apology to North Korea. This is because, last year, North Korea launched hundreds of balloons filled with trash into South Korean territory, yet the South Korean government received absolutely no expression of regret from the North.

북한에게 이재명 대통령의 사과에 대해 한국국민들은 분노를 하고 있다. 왜냐면, 지난해 북한은 수백개의 쓰레기 풍선을 한국영토로 날려 보냈었고 한국 정부는 북한으로부터 유감 표명을 일체 받은바 없다.

These actions by North Korea serve to demonstrate through a show of force that its hostile policy toward the South remains unchanged.

북한의 이러한 행동은 무력시위를 통해 대남 적대 정책이 달라지지 않았음을 입증하고 있다.

Since the beginning of this year, North Korea has launched ballistic missiles on January 4 and 27, March 14, and April 7 and 8; this marks the country's fifth ballistic missile launch of the year.

북한은 올해 들어 1월 4, 27일. 3월 14일. 4월7, 8일 탄도미사일을 발사한 바 있으며,  올해 들어 다섯번째 탄도미사일을 발사했다.

Experts suggest that these actions by North Korea may constitute intentional provocations designed to divert attention away from the conflict between the United States and Iran. (End)
