“U.S. and Iran Abruptly Agree to Two-Week Temporary Ceasefire!”

[미국과 이란 2주간 일시적 휴전에 전격 동의!]

On the evening of the 7th (local time) at 8:00 PM—following a U.S. warning that it would launch a full-scale military attack against key Iranian facilities—the United States and Israel today (local time) abruptly agreed to Iran's proposal for a two-week temporary ceasefire.

7일(현지시간) 밤 8시, 미국이 이란의 주요시설에 대해 전면적인 군사공격을 시행하겠다고 경고한후 오늘(현지시간) 오후 미국과 이스라엘이 이란의 2주간 일시 휴전 제의에 전격 동의했다.

President Trump announced via Truth Social, “We have received a 10-point proposal from Iran, which I believe serves as a possible basis for negotiations,” adding, “I agree to suspend bombing and attacks against Iran for two weeks.”

트럼프 대통령은 투르스 쇼설을 통해 “우리는 이란으로 부터 10개 항목 제안을 받았으며 이는 협상의 가능한 근거라고 생각한다.”면서 저는 이란에 대한 폭격 및 공격을 2주 동안 중단하기로 동의한다.”고 밝혔다.

President Trump said, "Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the Complete, Immediate, and Safe Opening of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for period of two weeks. This will be a bouble sided Ceasefire! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East.

트럼프 대통령은 "파키스탄의 세바즈 샤리프 총리와 아심 무늬르 원수와의 대화에 근거하여, 그들이 오늘밤 이란에 파견되는 파괴력을 중단해 달라고 요청했으며, 이란 이슬람 공화국이 호르무즈 해협의 완전하고 즉각적이며 안전한 개방에 동의한다는 전제하에 저는 이란에 대한 폭격 및 공격을 2주동안 중단하기로 동의한다. 이것은 양면 휴전이 될 것이다.  그렇게 하는 이유는 우리가 이미 모든 군사 목표를 달성하고 초과했으면, 이란과의 장기 평화 및 중동 평화에 관한 확정적인 합의와 크게 앞서 있기 때문이다."고 밝혔다.

Iran's proposed 10-point negotiation plan includes: 0.recognition of its control over the Strait of Hormuz 0.The lifting of all major sanctions against Iran 0.The elimination of all secondary sanctions against foreign entities 0. The termination of UN Security Council resolutions 0.The termination of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) resolutions 0.guarantees of non-aggression 0.acceptance of uranium enrichment 0.payment of compensation for war damages 0.ceasefires on all fronts 0. And the withdrawal of U.S. troops.

이란이 제안한 10개항 협상안을 보면: 0,호르무즈해협 통제권 인정. 0,이란에 대한 모든 주요 제재 해제. 0.외국기관에 대한 모든 2차 제재 철폐. 0.유엔안전보장이사회 결의안 종료. 0.국제원자력기구(IAEA) 결의안 종료. 0.비침략 보장. 0.우라늄 농축 수용. 0.전쟁 피해 보상 지급. 0.모든 전선에서의 휴전. 0.미군 철수.등이다.

President Trump has stated that he would agree to a ceasefire on the condition that the Strait of Hormuz be fully reopened. However, Iran maintains that it will reopen the Strait of Hormuz for a period of two weeks once U.S. attacks cease.

트럼프 대통령, 호르무즈 해협을 전면 개방하는 전제하에 휴전 할것이다고 밝혔다. 그러나 이란은 미국의 공격이 중단 되면 2주간 호르무즈 해협을 개방할것이다고 밝히고 있다.

Although President Trump reportedly agrees to a ceasefire proposal on the condition that the Strait of Hormuz be fully reopened for two weeks, it remains questionable whether the strait would be blockaded once again if the ceasefire is not properly implemented after that two-week period.

2주간 호르무즈해협을 전면 개방하는 조건으로 트럼프 대통령이 휴전안에 동의한다고 하지만 2주후 휴전안이 잘 이행이 안되었을때 다시 호르무즈해협을 봉쇄할 것인지도 의문이다.

Although both nations have effectively agreed to a ceasefire proposal lasting up to 15 days, it remains uncertain whether the process could take longer depending on the specific issues involved.

최장15일간의 휴전안에 양국이 사실상 동의 했지만 사안에 따라 시간이 더 걸릴지도 불확실 하다.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that the current negotiations do not signify an end to the war. At the same time, Iran’s National Security Council declared that it had “achieved victory in the war against the United States and Israel.”

이란 외무부는 이번 협상이 종전을 의미하는 것이 아니다고 밝혔다. 그러면서 이란 국가안보회의는 “미국과 이스라엘 전쟁에서 승리”했다고 선언했다.

Iranian state media reported that Mojtaba has signed Iran's ceasefire proposal. However, given that his very survival remains unconfirmed at this stage, this report may lack credibility.

이란 국영방송은 이란의 휴전 제안안에 모스타바가 싸인을 했다고 보도했다. 하지만 지금까지 모스타바가 살아있는것 조차도 파악하지 못하고 있는 상황에서 신빙성이 없는 보도일수도 있다.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Foreign Ministry has confirmed its clear intention to participate in the initial round of talks by announcing that it is preparing for direct negotiations with the United States, to be held in Islamabad on the 10th.

한편, 이란 외무부는 오는 10일 이슬라마바드에서 미국과 대변 협상을 준비하고 있다고 발표함으로서 첫 협상에 나올것이 분명함을 확인해 주고 있다.

Even if a ceasefire is implemented, the embers of war have not been completely extinguished; therefore, if neither side makes concessions and negotiations collapse, it is predicted that the situation will escalate into even more severe military action.

휴전이 진행되더라도 전쟁의 불씨가 완전히 사라지지 않고 있기 때문에 어느 한쪽이 양보를 하지 않고 협상이 파탄 난다면, 더 심각한 군사적 행동에 직면할 것으로 예측된다.

In any event, while Iran managed to avoid a U.S. attack by sidestepping the ultimatum, the situation remains fluid; depending on how it proceeds in future negotiations with the United States, it could either avert war or face renewed military action. (End)

어쨌든 이란이 미국의 최후 통첩을 피하면서 공격은 면했지만 앞으로 미국과의 협상에서 어떻게 나올지에 따라 전쟁을 피할수도 다시 공격을 받을수도 있는 상황이 될수도 있다. (끝)
