오늘 2일(현지시간) 펜타곤 브리핑룸에서 헤그세스 전쟁부 장관과 케인 합참의장의 브리핑이 있었다.

During the briefing, Secretary of War Hegseth emphasized, "If you (the enemy) kill Americans or threaten Americans anywhere on Earth, we will pursue you (the enemy) to the end and kill you without apology or hesitation."

헤그세스 전쟁부 장관은 이날 브리핑에서 “만약 당신(적)이 미국인을 죽이거나, 지구상 어디에서든 미국인을 위협한다면,우리는 어떤 사과나 망설임 없이 당신(적)을 끝까지 추적 하여 죽일것이다.”고 강조했다.

Regarding Iran's nuclear program, he expressed anger, saying, "Iran has not abandoned its nuclear blackmail ambitions. They continued to develop nuclear weapons elsewhere, even after their nuclear sites were destroyed by the first US precision strike. They were building powerful missiles and drones to create a conventional shield for their nuclear blackmail ambitions. They deployed these in large numbers to create a defensive force that would deter any attack. They were buying time to resume their nuclear ambitions."

이란 핵에 대해서는 “이란은 핵 공갈 야망을 버리지 않고 있다.”며 그들은 핵 싸이트가 미국의 첫번째 정밀타격으로 인해 파괴되었지만 다른 곳에서 계속 핵을 개발하는 핵 공갈 야망을 위해 재래식 방패를 만들기 위해 강력한 미사일과 드론을 만들고 있었고, 이것을 대량 배치해 감히 공격하지 못하게 하는 방어력을 쓰고 있었다.”며 그들이 핵 야망을 재개할 시간을 벌이고 있었다.”고 분노했다.

He added, "The previous Iranian regime had every opportunity to reach a peaceful and reasonable agreement, but their goal was to hold us (the United States) hostage and threaten to attack our forces."

그러면서 “이란의 전 정권은 평화롭고 합리적인 합의를 할 모든 기회가 있었지만, 그들의 목표는 우리(미국)를 인질로 잡고 우리 군대를 공격하겠다고 위협하는 것이었다.”고 말했다.

"We are no longer defenders. We are warriors trained to kill and break the will of our enemies," Secretary Hegseth emphasized. "We fight to win, and we waste no time or lives."

Secretary  Hegseth concluded his speech by saying, "Through the fire, through the accusations, through the fake news, through it all, we will break free of all constraints and fight without restraint."
