"Overall review after the movie premiere of 'Legacy of the Battlefield!' "

@In her review of "Legacy of the Battlefield," Janne Pak stated, "At a time when communist forces seeking to destroy liberal democracy are lurking around the world, a strong ROK-U.S. alliance is more important than ever." We go together!

Despite the freezing temperatures in Washington D.C. on February 7th, the premiere of the film "Legacy of the Battlefield" was a great success, with many Korean-Americans, other Americans, and journalists in attendance.

This documentary clearly illustrates the pride of the United States and its military, and the reasons and significance of America's role in defending global freedom.

It also highlights the importance of peace through strength, a principle repeatedly emphasized by the United States.

Director Kim Chae-young, who spearheaded the film's production, stated that the reason for creating "Legacy of the Battlefield" was to "strengthen the U.S.-Korea alliance and defend the global free world order," and that the film was produced with the intention of submitting it to President Trump and the Pentagon, the heart of U.S. security.

In particular, "Legacy of the Battlefield" provides invaluable education and enlightenment for soldiers who may not yet fully understand the Korean War.

The Korean War forged a blood alliance between the United States and South Korea, and through a mutual defense treaty, the U.S. and South Korea made a promise to each other's citizens that the U.S. would inevitably intervene and assist South Korea in the event of a conflict on the Korean Peninsula.  Therefore, we are forced to rely on peace maintained by the power of the United States, more so than the strength of any other alliance.

As seen in "Legacy of the Battlefield," in the Korean War, which was launched by a surprise attack by the North Korean army, the massive intervention of the Chinese forces resulted in the loss of many lives among the South Korean, American, and UN forces.

Even now, communist forces seeking to destroy liberal democracy are lurking like roaring lions, waiting for an opportunity to wage war.

In a park overlooking the State Department building in Washington, D.C., a monument stands in the Korean War Veterans Memorial, inscribed with the names of countless American soldiers who fought in the war. They are heroes who left behind a noble legacy of sacrifice for freedom and their country.

Finally, the reasons why you should watch "The Legacy of the Battlefield": First, it explains why the U.S. had to intervene in the Korean War; second, why 28,500 U.S. troops are currently stationed in South Korea; and third, why the U.S.-South Korea alliance is absolutely essential.  These are crucial points that our soldiers and the citizens of free democratic nations must understand.

"영화 '전장의 유산' 시사회 후 전반적인 평가!"

2월7일 워싱턴의 기온이 최저인 날씨에도 불구하고  ‘전장의 유산’ 영화 시사회에 많은 교포등 미국인, 기자들이 참석해 성황을 이뤘다.

이 다큐영화는 미국과 미군의 자긍심과 세계 자유를 수호하는 미국의 보람과 이유를 명확히 알리고 있다.

또한 미국이 거듭 외치고 있는 힘을 통한 평화가 중요한지도 알수 있다

영화를 총 지휘한 김채영 감독은 ‘전장의 유산’ 제작 이유에 대해 “한미동맹 강화와 세계 자유체제 수호를 위하여 미 합중국 대통령인 트럼프 대통령과 안보의 최 중심지 펜타곤에 이 영화를 제출할 영상으로 제작되었다.”고 포부를 밝혔다.

특히 “전장의 유산”은 아직 한국전에 대해 이해하지 못하고 있는 군인들에게 교육 및 계몽 차원에서 더할나위없는 이해를 시켜주고 있다.

한국전으로 인해 미국과 한국은 혈맹으로 맺어졌고 상호방위조약으로 한반도 유사시 미국이 반드시 개입,  한국을 도와줄것이라는 미국과 한국 국민과의 약속을 맺음으로서 어느 동맹의 힘보다 미국의 힘에 의한 평화에 우리는 의존할수 밖에 없다.

‘전장의 유산’에서 보듯  북한군이 기습적으로 일으킨 한국전쟁에서 엄청난 중공군의 개입으로인해 아군과 미군, UN군이 많은 목숨을 잃었다.

지금도 세계 곳곳에서는 자유민주주의를 파괴하려는 공산주의 세력들이 우는 사자처럼 전쟁의 기회를 노리고 있다.

워싱턴 DC 국무성 청사가 바라보이는 공원에 “한국전 참전용사”기념공원에 세워진 기념비에는 수많은 미군 참전용사들의 이름이 새겨져 있다. 그들은 자유와 국가를 위해 희생된 고귀한 유산을 남긴 영웅들이다.

마지막으로 ‘전장의 유산’을 봐야 할 이유에 대해: 첫째, 미국이 왜 한국전쟁에 개입했어야 하며, 둘째 현재 주한 미군 2만8천5 백명이 왜 한국에 주둔해야 하며,셋째 한미동맹이 왜 꼭 필요한지를 우리 군인들과 자유민주주의 국가들의 국민들이 반드시 알아야 할 대목이기 때문이다.
