President Trump, who visited Gyeongju for the APEC summit, held a summit with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung on the 29th. This was the second meeting between Presidents Trump and Lee, following their meeting in August.

경주 APEC위해 방문한 트럼프 대통령은 29일 이재명 한국 대통령과 정상회담을 가졌다.트럼프 대통령과 이재명 대통령은 지난 8월에 이어 두번째 만남을 가졌다.

President Lee Jae-myung presented President Trump with a crown ahead of their bilateral meeting, the highest gift a South Korean president can give to a foreign leader.

이재명 대통령은 양자회담에 앞서 트럼프 대통령에게 왕관을 선물했다. 이는  한국 대통령이 외국 대통령에게 주는 최고의 선물이다.

Attention is focused on the possibility of a final agreement in the Korea-U.S. tariff negotiations, which have continued for over two months since the two presidents met at the White House in Washington, D.C. on August 25.

양국 대통령은 지난 8월 25일 워싱턴 DC 백악관에서 만난이후 두달 넘게 이어온 한미 관세협상이 최종적으로 타결될 가능성에 관심이 집중되고 있다.

Regarding investment in the U.S., which was a major topic of interest between the two countries that day, it was revealed that the $350 billion (approximately 497 trillion won) of financial investment in the U.S. is comprised of $200 billion (approximately 294 trillion won) in cash investment and $150 billion (approximately 213 trillion won) in shipbuilding cooperation.

이날 양국간의 초미의 관심사였던 대미 투자에 대해, 대미 금융투자  3500억달러(약 497조원)은 현금투자 2000억달러(약 294조원)와 조선업협력 1500억달러(약 213조)로 구성된다고 밝혔다.

The Korean government stated that Korea's investment in the United States will not be made all at once, but will be invested based on the progress of the business, within the limit of 20 billion dollars (approximately 29 trillion won) per year.

한국의 미국에 대한 투자가 한 번에 이루지는 것이 아니고 연간 200억달러(약 29조원) 한도내에서 사업 진척 정도에 따른 투자라며 한국정부가 밝혔다.

It was announced that the $150 billion MASGA project, a shipbuilding cooperation project, will be led by Korean companies and will include guarantees in addition to investments.

마스가(MASGA) 프로젝트인 조선업 협력 1500억달러는 한국기업의 주도로 추진하고, 투자외에 보증도 포함하는 것으로 합의 됐다고 밝혔다.

However, contrary to South Korea's announcement, the US has yet to release a detailed agreement. It is expected that the details of the agreement between the two countries will be released after careful review.

하지만 한국측의 발표와는 달리 미국측에서는 아직 구체적인 합의문이 발표되지 않고있다. 양국간의 합의에 대해 세부사항이 신중히 검토된후 나올것으로 예상된다. (끝)
